We achieved hyperpolarization in the prototype.

Hyperpolarization is one of the important milestones in the GAMMA-MRI project. Achieving good hyperpolarization within an operative environment is anything but easy. In the beginning of 2024, the research team was able to obtain reasonable levels of hyperpolarization in the lab. Unfortunately, we struggled to reproduce this same results in the prototype. After intense work during the summer of 2024 by the Geneva team, we were able to observe similar levels of hyperpolarization in the prototype as well. Furthermore, these results have been systematically repeated with the same results. Hence, this important milestone for the project has been achieved successfully.
